Original Note:
Making threats/encouraging violence is obviously illegal, but “political rhetoric” like criticizing an arm of the gov is unambiguously protected by the First Amendment. It is unconstitutional for the government to demand that people stop criticizing it. https://supreme.justia.com/cases/federal/us/408/92/ https://supreme.justia.com/cases/federal/us/310/88/#101 https://www.law.cornell.edu/wex/first_amendment https://www.law.cornell.edu/wex/freedom_of_speech https://ahdictionary.com/word/search.html?q=Freedom+of+speech
