Original Note:

While it is generally true that testing for elevated PSA levels usually red flags prostate cancer, around 15% of people with prostate cancer don't have elevated PSA levels. In part because PSA screening has such a high false-negative rate, Europe has largely abandoned it. https://www.cancerresearchuk.org/health-professional/diagnosis/investigations/psa-testing https://www.cancer.org/cancer/types/prostate-cancer/detection-diagnosis-staging/detection.html https://www.renalandurologynews.com/news/psa-testing-why-the-u-s-and-europe-differ/
