Original Note:

Social Security Admin has admitted that there are 18.9 million people over age 100 marked as "alive" in their system & 2% (500,000+) of them collect benefits. Thid is over 5x the total number of 100+ year olds alive. The SSA decided it would be too much work to fix. https://oig.ssa.gov/assets/uploads/a-06-21-51022.pdf https://www.pewresearch.org/short-reads/2024/12/06/striking-findings-from-2024/
