Original Note:

Tuberculosis has always spread via airborne transmission. This is not a new development in the disease. It spreads when people inhale droplets containing the bacteria, usually released into the air when a person with pulmonary tuberculosis coughs, sneezes or talks. https://www.cdc.gov/tb/causes/index.html#cdc_causes_how_it_spreads-how-it-spreads https://www.canada.ca/en/public-health/services/diseases/tuberculosis/prevention-risks.html https://www.ecdc.europa.eu/en/tuberculosis
