The ADL is very clear. https://www.adl.org/resources/hate-symbol/hitler-salute-hand-sign The Nazi Salute requires you to face forward, shoulders squared and saluting forward. With a slight angle. Obviously those that want to interpret it as a Nazi salute either uneducated, or clearly using as a political ploy. Neither did a Nazi salute.
