Original Note:

Razor bumps (pseudofolliculitis barbae) aren't fungal infections, nor are they caused by disinfected towels. They occur when shaved or plucked hairs grow back into the skin, causing irritation, inflammation and potential scarring particularly in the beard or back of the head. https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC6585396/ https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/15113283/
