Original Note:
The US was interested in Greenland in 1867, this is factual. Although it was William Seward (was part of the purchase of Alaska from Russia) that discussed the idea, not Harry Truman. Truman ALSO expressed interest in 1946. It's a clarification but not totally wrong. https://nyshistoricnewspapers.org/?a=d&d=toj18680701-01.1.3&e=-------en-20--1--txt-txIN---------- https://academic.oup.com/jah/article-abstract/27/2/263/805307?redirectedFrom=fulltext&login=false https://skemman.is/bitstream/1946/23162/1/Loka%C3%BAtg%C3%A1fa_STJ_hannes.pdf
