Original Note:

NASA tracks 30,000 pieces of space debris bigger than 10cm. Only 1,000 pieces of space junk are spacecraft remnants. Even small pieces of debris can damage spacecraft at the speeds they travel at. Seeing a softball size piece of junk in that window would be hard https://www.britannica.com/technology/space-debris https://www.nesdis.noaa.gov/news/does-space-junk-fall-thesky#:~:text=The%20'Lethal'%20Population%20of%20Space%20Debris&text=The%20majority%20of%20which%20are,are%20larger%20than%20a%20softball.
