Original Note:
Human emission of carbon dioxide is more than 100 times that from all the volcanoes in the world combined. While volcanic eruptions do add CO2 to the atmosphere, human activities emit a Mount St. Helens-sized eruption of CO2 every 2.5 hours. https://climate.nasa.gov/faq/42/what-do-volcanoes-have-to-do-with-climate-change/ https://www.usgs.gov/programs/VHP/volcanoes-can-affect-climate https://www.science.org/content/article/scienceshot-volcano-co2-emissions-no-match-human-activity https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/how-do-volcanoes-affect-w/ https://www.reuters.com/article/factcheck-volcanoes-co2/fact-check-volcanoes-do-not-produce-more-co2-emissions-than-human-activity-idUSL1N2XV1HA https://www.aap.com.au/factcheck/no-carbon-contest-between-emissions-heavy-humans-and-volcanoes/ https://factcheck.afp.com/no-volcanoes-do-not-emit-more-carbon-dioxide-human-activity
