The use of "big" here is misleading. As proposed IRIS2 will have 290 satellites whereas Starlink has deployed nearly 7,000 active satellites as of September 2024. While it may represent competition. It would be more accurate to classify Starlink as the 'bigger' sibling. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Starlink
