This chart is misleading: 1) the large number at the end is mostly due to the crime rate of rich whites (denominator) approaching zero 2) Even a tiny bias in conviction of rich black people on the order of 1 in 100 would explain the upward trend https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multiplicative_inverse
