Original Note:
LPC didn't lower the retirement age; it remained 65. CPC proposed to raise the age for Old Age Security (funded by general taxes) to 67, but this never happened. CPP was still 65. Housing starts are 240,761 units a yr, on pace 4 million by 2040, not 2031 as promised. https://ttcpp.ca/has-the-eligibility-age-for-old-age-security-changed/ https://www.nationalwealth.ca/blog-01/old-age-security-and-canada-pension-plan https://www.ctvnews.ca/canada/cmhc-reports-annual-pace-of-housing-starts-up-eight-per-cent-in-october-1.7113807 https://tradingeconomics.com/canada/housing-starts
