Although in the video the ball is spining, the effect we saw is not the Magnus effect where an object rotating on a fluid had its trajectory affected: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnus_effect In the video, we saw that the ball change its direction due to friction with the ground, not due to Magnus effect.
