Picard crater in Mare Crisium is on the near side. The far side of the mare has a lower ridge than the near side. https://c02.purpledshub.com/uploads/sites/48/2021/08/Mare-Crisium-eebdf44.jpg?webp=1&w=1200 Despite adding distortion to make it look like it was recorded in a telescope on earth, we never see the moon from this perspective on earth. It's fake.
