Misleading. Light travels in straight line unless is diverted by a differing optical medium, or by strong gravity or hits something. Although planets are big, there mass does not cause light to curve around like this. Speed is also almost same in these scenarios as well. https://science.nasa.gov/universe/how-gravity-warps-light/
