Original Note:

Those white lines in the sky are contrails, they are made of ice and they are the entirely natural result of adding water vapour from the combustion of hydrocarbon fuels to very cold, humid air. Because of this, they have been happening since the earliest days of flight. https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Annette-Ryan/publication/235351579_World_War_II_contrails_A_case_study_of_aviation-induced_cloudiness/links/5c3506e0a6fdccd6b59d7c61/World-War-II-contrails-A-case-study-of-aviation-induced-cloudiness.pdf https://ntrs.nasa.gov/api/citations/19930093080/downloads/19930093080.pdf https://journals.ametsoc.org/view/journals/mwre/49/7/1520-0493_1921_49_412c_cfbsp_2_0_co_2.xml
