This is not a correct claim of "black washing" as Ita Ekpenyon was a real air raid warden. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ita_Ekpenyon#:~:text=Ekpenyon%20is%20the%20only%20known,I%20am%20a%20lucky%20omen. "Black washing" claims that a person of colour replaces a white person in history, as Ita was a real person, he is not replacing anyone.
