While the B-52 was not released until 1952, the cowling in this photo belongs to a Consolidated B-24 Liberator. https://media.defense.gov/2015/Jul/28/2001264733/1200/1200/0/150727-F-IO108-017.JPG It is feasible that the poster mistook the plane for a more well-known one.
