There is no mathematical benefit to using Kelvin. The only difference is Celsius defines 0 as the freezing point water and in Kelvin it’s absolutely 0 (what is equivalent to -273 degrees Celsius). You can add 273 to any Celsius temperature and get the temperature in Kelvin. https://cryo.gsfc.nasa.gov/introduction/temp_scales.html
