the Havard poll is misleading as it's asking about whether supporting Israel vs. Hamas, not Israel vs. Palestine. When you put a recognized state vs. a militant group the US labels as a terrorist org. then it's normal to find the majority of polled persons support the state https://harvardharrispoll.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/07/HHP_July2024_KeyResults.pdf
