According to the AHA, American Heart Association, you should have 5.5-6 oz/eq of protein a day; chicken, fish, eggs, etc. 2 cups of fruits, 3 cups of vegetables, and 3 cup/eq of diary, This is a heart healthy diet to lower CVD risk.
