Radiocarbon dating has established that the Shroud of Turin dates to around the 14th Century, not the First Century AD. Microscopic testing also suggests that imagery on the Shroud was created using red ochre and vermillion pigments https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shroud_of_Turin
