The attached Guardian article cites only https://ntp.niehs.nih.gov/whatwestudy/assessments/noncancer/completed/fluoride as scientific evidence; there, lower IQ in children is attributed to >1.5 mg of fluoride/L in non-US countries. This is above the WHO’s safety limit and twice the amount recommended in the US; not “way below” therapeutic doses.
