The current World Champions of baseball are Japan after they won the 2023 World Baseball Classic. The Los Angeles Dodgers should instead be referred to as the 'North American Champions' rather than the World Champions since the MLB only comprises of North American teams. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2023_World_Baseball_Classic
