Original Note:
Judaism recognizes only two sexes. Different “genders” relate to genetic aberrations, like intersex, not transgenderism. The Torah explicitly forbids cross-dressing and castration, and Halacha rejects the idea that a biological man can be a woman or treated as such. https://www.nationalreview.com/2023/03/no-the-jewish-tradition-does-not-support-transgenderism/amp/ https://www.jns.org/new-york-times-article-claiming-ancient-judaism-recognized-a-range-of-genders-draws-criticism/ https://www.newsweek.com/judaisms-stance-gender-clear-despite-attempts-rewrite-torah-opinion-1790700
