Original Note:

This is not the meeting of two oceans. This is a common phenomenon at the meeting of rivers with different temperatures, speed flow and different sediment content. The best example this is the Meeting of The Waters in Brazil which does eventually mix completely. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meeting_of_Waters
