SGT Blake was initially charged for murder by the CPS but later found not guilty at crown court. https://www.cps.gov.uk/cps/news/cps-statement-acquittal-martyn-blake Whilst Chris Kaba was indeed not armed with a gun, critics argue that he was armed with a vehicle, an Audi Q8, which could kill if it had driven over SGT Blake or others.
