Original Note:

Unverified Claim stated as Fact. No evidence whatsoever this meteor 'fell near' the volcano. Meteors occur 10's of km up in atmosphere. This one is viewed near horizon, so could also have been 100's km away in background. Without fall evidence, just a regular normal meteor. https://earthsky.org/space/at-what-altitude-do-meteors-become-incandescent/
