Original Note:
The article notes the boy was a heavy tobacco smoker and used e-cigarettes much less frequently. It's thus puzzling why the condition is attributed to vaping, and not smoking. Coughing blood is strongly related to cigarette smoking. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hemoptysis#:~:text=history%20of%20cigarette%20smoking https://erj.ersjournals.com/content/34/5/1031 https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK538278/#:~:text=71%25%20of%20the%20patients%20were%20men%2C%20and%20a%20smoking%20history%20was%C2%A0present%20in%2071%25%20of%20the%20patients.%20The%20study%20by%20Mondoni%20et%20al%20showed%20a%20median%20age%20of%2067%2C%2066.7%25%20of%20the%20patients%20were%20men%2C%20and%20a%20smoking%20history%20was%20present%20in%2054%25%20of%20the%20patients
