This strike was not aimed at warning Iran per se, that was only an extra outcome of the strike. The targets in Yemen were 5 known Houthi ammo sites. Houthi’s have so far not reported any civilian casualties. https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2024/10/17/us-says-b2-bombers-launched-precision-strikes-against-houthis-in-yemen Houthi’s are known for attacking civilian ships in the area
