Mpox breitet sich hauptsächlich da aus, wo wenige gegen Corona geimpft sind, z.B. im Kongo und einigen angrenzenden Ländern. Im Kongo liegt die Quote der vollständig Geimpften bsbw. bei 14,5 %.
