Original Note:
Green and blue circles shown are called radar bloom, anomalous propagation, or bio scatter. Visible beams/lines show RF interference on affected radials. Both phenomena are very common, well documented and most noticeable during beam superrefraction periods. https://www.roc.noaa.gov/public-documents/operations-branch/Data_Quality_Oddities_and_Anomalies.pdf https://t.co/PsllqRHUuN https://www.ntia.doc.gov/files/ntia/publications/13-490_1_.pdf https://www.ntia.doc.gov/files/ntia/publications/13-490_1_.pdf https://www.noaa.gov/jetstream/radar-beams https://training.weather.gov/wdtd/courses/rac/principles/data-quality/story.html https://x.com/tornatrix/status/1842949941913874857 https://journals.ametsoc.org/view/journals/bams/97/7/bams-d-15-00048.1.xml?tab_body=pdf
