Astro photography needs slow shutter speeds and dark nights to capture stars "exposure time to around 25 seconds" https://www.itsjustlight.com/photography-tips/star-photography-tutorial/#google_vignette No one takes star photos from earth during mid-day, the balloon is in direct sunlight.
