WW2 started after Germany invaded Poland. England and the allies started the war in defence of Poland. https://www.history.com/topics/world-war-ii#:~:text=Adolf%20Hitler's%20invasion%20of%20Poland,globe%20than%20any%20previous%20war. America then joined the war after Germany continually sink US ships. There was no defence of the Jews from the US or UK!
