Original Note:

There was no live baby in the Brittany Watts miscarriage case. The fetus did not drown. Autopsy report found it died in utero, before delivery, due to complications of premature rupturing of the membranes. The charge of which Watts was acquitted was “abuse of a corpse.” https://www.nytimes.com/2024/01/03/us/brittany-watts-ohio-miscarriage-abortion.html https://www.nbcnews.com/news/nbcblk/brittany-watts-miscarriage-bathroom-charged-rcna135861
