W.E.B Dubois only voted for FDR once, in 1932, before FDR voiced his opposition to anti-lynching legislation. Later in his life Dubois declared that he would not vote, writing “There is but one evil party with two names, and it will be elected despite all I can do or say.” https://www.thenation.com/article/archive/i-wont-vote/
