Original Note:
OP's claim that "cheetahs haven't died" is misleading. Of 20 introduced, 13 died. Of 17 cubs born, 5 died. Besides, the claim that they "thrived" is arguably false. All survivors are in captivity after 3 died in the wild due to "septicemia" & a 4th allegedly "drowned". https://www.deccanherald.com/india/madhya-pradesh/namibian-cheetah-pawan-dies-at-mps-kuno-national-park-3166148 https://frontline.thehindu.com/environment/african-cheetahs-captivity-kuno-national-park-cheetah-action-plan/article68625550.ece
