NNN - The FBI mandated the switch to a different reporting system in 2021. Due to the pandemic, this wasn't achievable for many departments, and the FBI began to allow departments to use SRS again. Reporting rates are back to normal levels, and both NYPD and LAPD have reported. https://jasher.substack.com/p/is-the-nibrs-transition-to-blame
