The pagers and walkie talkies were from 2 firms Based in Taiwan and Hungary A Japanese company that makes the walkie talkie, IC-V82 model by Icom, stopped producing that model 10 years ago They last sent a shipment in 2014 It's claimed these were fake, knock offs. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cz04m913m49o
