Original Note:

Notes saying GA only allows D & C for miscarriages are wrong. GA’s law forbids purposefully causing an unborn child’s death and doesn’t allow abortions when there’s a fetal heartbeat. Amber’s twins already died from the abortion pill so removing their dead bodies was legal. https://casetext.com/statute/code-of-georgia/title-16-crimes-and-offenses/chapter-12-offenses-against-public-health-and-morals/article-5-abortion/section-16-12-141-restrictions-on-the-performance-of-abortions-availability-of-records-civil-cause-of-action-affirmative-defenses
