While forest fires are often caused by humans being careless, there is nothing to say that arsonists or nefarious political agendas have any significant cause of the number fires. Lightning is also a major factor. Blind speculation is not helpful. https://www.alberta.ca/agri-news-preventing-wildfires-always-season
