The US numbers in this chart are close to correct, but I can't find the exact numbers they have. https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/72/wr/mm7242a4.htm The European numbers however, are of all firearm deaths, not just homicides. This includes suicide and accidents. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_firearm-related_death_rate#Table._Firearm_death_rates._Suicides,_homicides,_etc. As such, he is comparing two different measurements.
