Caplan is correct that adult tetanus boosters aren't necessary. Though bear in mind that deaths would be higher, if not for childhood vaccinations. But tetanus immunity lasts longer than previously thought, and the WHO doesn't recommend adult boosters for tetanus. https://academic.oup.com/cid/article/72/2/285/5741633
