Original Note:
Community note shown is wrong - There is not “near-universal” application of the Tetanus vaccine. It was 63.4% in 2017 according to the CDC. This in turn means it is wrong to say the reason so few people die is because everyone is vaccinated. They aren’t. https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/imz-managers/coverage/adultvaxview/pubs-resources/NHIS-2017.html#:~:text=United%20States%2C%202017-,Tetanus%20Vaccination%20(Td%20and%20Tdap),similar%20to%20estimates%20for%202016.
