Rape is often unreported and there has been a push for victims to report these crimes to the police. In 2003 the legal definition of rape was also expanded. https://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2003/42/section/1 There is no evidence to suggest the large increase in reporting is due to immigration.
