NNN CN's source map is not the same at the post. The biggest difference is both a legend and actual temperatures are included on NOAA map. The addition of the temps and nowhere near as much red and orange (for the last 24 hours) on the NOAA map, also proves the OP statement. https://graphical.weather.gov/sectors/conus.php?element=T
