Original Note:
Pasteurization is the process where some raw product is slowly heated to a high temperature (usually 161°F) and held there to kill any biological contaminants. Raw (unpasteurized) milk currently carries the risk of contracting H5N1 (commonly known as Bird Flu). https://agclass.nal.usda.gov/vocabularies/nalt/concept?uri=https://lod.nal.usda.gov/nalt/67927 https://ask.usda.gov/s/article/Is-raw-milk-safe#:~:text=Raw%20milk%20from%20a%20cow,or%20visit%20the%20FDA%20website. https://www.cdc.gov/bird-flu/situation-summary/index.html
