“drawn and quartered” doesn’t mean stretched. It was a medieval punishment where culprit was dragged by horses to gallows, then hanged by the neck (but not till dead), then “drawn” (disembowled), entrails burned (still alive), then body “quartered” (cut into 4) and scattered. https://www.britannica.com/topic/Britannica-on-drawing-and-quartering-1996333
