Original Note:

Bees are in decline for many reasons including loss of habitat, loss of native flora, introduction of non-native flora and fauna, overuse of pesticides and pollution. Aluminium pollution can be traced to volcanism and erosion, as well as urban pollution. https://www.europarl.europa.eu/topics/en/article/20191129STO67758/what-s-behind-the-decline-in-bees-and-other-pollinators-infographic https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-south-scotland-66609241 https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8364537/
