Original Note:
In Ireland, non-citizens over 18 and registered to vote are legally allowed to participate in local elections. This includes many new migrants. There are NGOs and other groups helping to register new resident migrants and helping them to polling stations. https://www.irishtimes.com/politics/2024/05/18/everything-you-need-to-know-about-the-local-and-european-elections/ https://www.fingal.ie/voting-and-elections https://www.electoralcommission.ie/voter-eligibility/ https://gript.ie/ngos-celebrate-registration-of-migrant-voters-but-actual-number-is-unknown/
